Prior to establishing Sabiston Consultants, NORMA JANE SABISTON spent 25 years on Capital Hill where she served as Legislative Assitant to Congressman Billy Tauzin, State and Political Director for Senator John Breaux, and Chief-of-Staff to Senator Mary Landrieu. Additionally, she has served as Field Director for Senator J. Bennett Johnson, Campaign Manager for Senators Breaux and Landrieu, and was also instrumental in Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s statewide campaign for Lt. Governor as well as his most recent mayoral campaigns. She returned home to Louisiana after hurricane Katrina to join Marmillion + Campany as Vice President. During this time, she represented the America’s WETLAND Campaign to Save Coastal Restoration and was active in the creation of Women of the Storm and the Coast Guardians, organizations that advocate for steady revenue to restore Louisiana’s coastline.

Currently, Norma Jane serves as President of Sabiston Consultants, public affairs and political consulting company in New Orleans that specializes in government relations, legislative initiative planning, strategic campaign development, executive counselling, issues management, and message development. Sabiston Consultants takes pride in representing the issues important to New Orleans and the state of Louisiana.
